This simple WALL CAP can be made with 1, 2, 3 or 4 edges dressed for a variety of applications. Use it to cap a fireplace you have designed and built to meet your own special needs, to finish a half height room dividing wall as pictured, or even as a window seat. Wall caps made of Red Oak with 3 edges dressed are regularly available to fit over walls of 2x4 construction [pictured], 2x6 construction and 2x12 construction up to 8 feet long. Special configurations, species and lengths are also possible.
